Shaquille O’Neal - American Professional Basketball Player
Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal better known as “Shaq” is not just an outstanding basketball player he is also a rapper and an actor. O’Neal has four NBA championships to his credit. He is one of the dominant players in the history of American Basketball Team.
O’Neal currently represents the Phoenix Suns team. Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat have been the teams he had been a part of. At 7 ft 1 inch he gets a power advantage over his opponents and generally known for his quick and enthralling performance. He has been voted as NBA Finals most valuable player over three times.
He is generally liked by the media both for his free spirited tone and eloquent manner of speech in interviews. He has also pursued a rapping career with 5 studio albums and one compilation album to his credit. O’Neal is also a successful actor extending his acting career interest to voicing animated versions of himself for several series of Static Shock. He has been featured on the covers of a number of NBA video games and animated fighting games. Reality series on ESPN was released in the name of Shaquille and has also hosted a television game show which was called Shaq’s Big Challenge on the ABC channel.
Shaq’s Personal Life
Born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1972 he lives with his step father Philip A. Harrison, an army Sergeant, O’Neal married Shaunie Nelson in 2002 and has children. He is a 2009 inductee of New Jersey Hall of Fame.

After graduating from Robert G. Cole High School he went to Louisiana State University for his graduate studies. He first played for LSU’s Basket Ball Team and won Adolph Rupp Trophy NCAA basket ball Player of the Year award in the year 1991. He left LSU in 1992 before completing his graduation and went on to pursue his NBA career and returned back to school for his graduation in general studies in the year 2000. He also became a part of LSU’s Hall of Fame.
